Job summary

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine in Dallas is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical procedures, front desk tasks, and patient experience. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures including ultrasound-guided treatments.

You will document vitals, update histories in the EMR, schedule follow-ups, collect payments, and verify insurance, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent).
  • High School Diploma or GED or Associate degree.
  • Proven working experience as a medical assistant.
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent time management and ability to multi-task.
  • Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers.
  • Able to stand or sit for long durations.
  • Strong computer skills with EMRs, Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients; manage front desk and patient flow.
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures, including ultrasound-guided treatments.
  • Record vitals, update medical histories, and document in the EMR.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care.
  • Collect payments at time of service and deliver financial packets.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and ensure paperwork is completed.
  • Maintain clinical and front office supplies; keep rooms stocked and clean.
  • Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance and privacy of patient information.
  • Support coordination between clinical and administrative teams.
  • Participate in trainings and process improvement initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned by department lead/manager.

How You'll Contribute
