Job summary

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support clinical procedures and front desk operations in a patient-centered environment. You will prepare exam rooms, assist physicians with ultrasound-guided treatments, and document vitals and histories in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent) credential required.
• High School Diploma or GED or Associate degree.
• Proven experience as a medical assistant in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong communication and service orientation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patient transfers.
• Proficient in EMRs, MS Office, Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

How You'll Contribute

• Greet and check in patients; manage front desk and patient flow throughout the day
• Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures, including ultrasound-guided treatments
• Record vitals, update medical histories, and accurately document in the EMR
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
• Collect payments at time of service and deliver financial packets as instructed by Treatment Plan Coordinators or the financial team
• Verify insurance eligibility and ensure all paperwork is properly completed
• Maintain clinical and front office supplies; ensure all rooms are clean and well-stocked
• Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all internal protocols
• Handle confidential patient information with professionalism and discretion
• Support internal coordination between clinical and administrative teams
• Participate in team trainings and ongoing process improvement initiatives
• Other duties as assigned by the department lead/manager

Requirements
