Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network’s UVMMC is hiring full-time Medical Assistant roles at the Burlington location. Positions involve clerical and direct patient care support, with daily activities under the supervision of a health care provider. Regular hours are Monday through Friday during daytime business hours.

CPR certification within six months is required. Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, with vocational training preferred.

This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.
