UVM Health - UVM Medical Center is hiring full-time Medical Assistant II positions across several clinics including Colchester, South Burlington and UVMMC Main Campus. The role covers clerical and clinical support to help patients move through the visit under a supervising provider.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, CPR within six months, and at least one year of direct patient care experience; vocational training preferred. Positions are daytime, weekday only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification required within six months of hire.
• MA II - one year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily activities of a clinical site and facilitate patient flow.
• Provide clerical and clinical health care support to patients and families under provider supervision.
• Master basic clinical activities and perform some advanced clinical tasks as needed.

PLEASE NOTE: These are all full-time positions, Monday through Friday day/business hours

This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities.

Education
