Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team across Lynn and West Roxbury clinics. You will greet patients, record vitals, assist during procedures, and help maintain a welcoming environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with a rotating schedule, and compensation range $20–$24 per hour based on experience. Healthcare training and EMR experience preferred; bilingual abilities welcome.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.
• 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience in patient care required.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced setting required.
• Experience documenting patient information in EMR/EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Record vitals, med histories and clinical information in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection within scope.
• Document patient interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
• Support care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care, and hospitals.

Position Summary:

As aMedical Assistant,you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinics. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Position Details:

• Location: This position floats between our Lynn & West Roxbury clinics.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (M, W, F in Lynn & T, Th in West Roxbury)
• Compensation: $20-$24hr based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such asvital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
