Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our clinics in Lynn and West Roxbury. You will greet patients, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, and document in EMR/EHR systems. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish and a strong customer-service background.

Location: Lynn & West Roxbury; Schedule: Full-Time, Mon-Fri; Compensation: $21–$25/hr based on experience. Travel training: 2 weeks out of state, all expenses covered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program preferred or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival with a welcoming experience.
• Document vital signs, medical histories, and clinical info in EMR/EHR.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, vaccinations, and specimen collection.
• Document interactions accurately in EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver excellent patient service in a high-volume clinic.
• Support care using EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks).
• Assist physicians in procedures and maintain a safe clinic environment.

Position Summary

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinics. Your responsibilities will include assisting physicians during medical procedures, managing patient interactions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patients.

Position Details

• Location: This position floats between our Lynn & West Roxbury clinics.
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (M, W, F in Lynn & T, Th in West Roxbury)
• Compensation: $21-$25hr based on experience and qualifications
• Fluency in English & Spanish required

Travel Training Required! 2 weeks of travel training, out of state. All expenses will be paid by us!

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

• 1-2 years of hands‑on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
