We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our BV Clinics. Our clinics specialize in caring for adult and pediatric patients with Food & Environmental Allergies. Our unique protocols provide an effective alternative to traditional allergy treatments, offering patients a safe and convenient solution for moderate allergies. We value individuals with exceptional patient care, assessment, and triage skills to maintain and improve our quality medical services in the community.

Job Description

At our clinics, we treat patients suffering from Food & Environmental Allergies using innovative protocols. We are looking for team members with excellent patient care, phone, assessment, and triage skills to enhance our service quality.

Hours: Full-time; hours may vary based on patient flow.

Compensation: Market competitive wages based on experience and education.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide direct patient care, including:
  • Patient communication
  • Handling phone calls
  • Obtaining medical histories
  • Performing lung function tests
  • Placing and interpreting allergy skin tests
  • Administering injections
  • Facilitating oral challenges
  • Assisting with procedures
  • Patient education
  • Follow-up with patients, pharmacies, and insurance providers.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as restocking supplies, quality control, calibrating instruments, and sanitizing equipment.
  • Requirements
    • Active, unencumbered Washington Medical Assistant license
    • Experience with Allergy and Asthma preferred but not required
    • BLS/CPR certification obtained within 30 days of hire
    • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team
    • Professional demeanor focused on accurate and efficient patient care
    • Kind, upbeat, and positive attitude
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Punctuality and reliable attendance
