Job summary

HVMG VIMC Beaver in Beaver, PA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinical and administrative tasks in a busy practice. Duties include taking vital signs, collecting specimens, basic lab tests, injections, updating records, scheduling appointments, and coordinating referrals under the provider's direction.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and completion of HR-106 clearances within 90 days, plus computer experience.

Hiring Bonus! We’re so looking forward to working with you that we’re offering up to a $1,000 hiring bonus for full time Medical Assistants.

Office Location: HVMG Valley Internal Medicine Center - Beaver
Work Hours: Hours vary between 7 am and 6 pm Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays

Collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by provider in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records, obtaining referrals/authorizations and scheduling appointments.

Required

High School graduate or equivalent. CPR Certification. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment. Computer experience.

Preferred

Medical Assistant diploma or degree program. Minimum of one year medical assisting experience. Proficient in venipuncture.
