Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Austin, TX 78745. This is a 3+ months contract assignment with potential for extension or conversion. Schedule is 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday, with pay range of $20-$23 per hour on W2.

Must have Medical Assistant Certification and BLS/CPR. Duties include rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing labs, and assisting with procedures such as nebulizers, EKGs, ear care, and other screenings.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and obtaining vitals including manual BP.
• Draw labs and perform procedures such as nebulizers, ear care and EKG.
• Assist with patient outreach and medical management as needed.

Specific Duties:

Rooming patients, obtaining vitals including manual BP, draw labs, perform procedures such as nebulizers, ear lavage, EKG, eye exams, and other screenings as needed. Responsible for patient outreach, answering phones, and medical management of patients.

Must have qualifications/experience:

• Medical Assistant Certification
