The Medical Assistant 2 is the first point of contact for patient care, responsible for both clinical and administrative duties. The role performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments. Responsibilities include discussing symptoms, obtaining vital signs, medication/vaccine administration, phlebotomy, collecting specimens, performing diagnostic screening tests, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, maintaining examination rooms, and documenting all information into the electronic medical records system. The MA collaborates closely with Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, delivering direct patient care as permitted by certification. The position interprets departmental policies and procedures, works within defined parameters to meet quality standards, and exercises discretion over prioritization and timing.

Pay Range: $43,000 – $56,200 per year. Compensation may vary based on location and individual qualifications, experience, education, and certifications. The position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
