Conviva Senior Primary Care in Sarasota, Florida is looking for a Medical Assistant 2 to join their caring community. The Medical Assistant 2 is the first point of contact for patient care and is responsible for administrative duties in addition to patient care. This role performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Typical duties include computing tasks, handling semi-routine assignments, and performing clinical duties such as discussing symptoms, gathering patient information into electronic medical records, taking vital signs, giving injections, performing diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, drawing blood, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site. The MA collaborates closely with physicians and nurses, delivering direct patient care within the limits of active certification, and works with minimal direction relying on established policies and the interpretive latitude for prioritization and timing.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full‑time employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job‑related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $43,000 – $56,200 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
