Job summary

Real Chemistry is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Medical Affairs team. The role focuses on delivering projects from initiation through closeout—planning, budgeting, routing, approvals, and launch of deliverables like scientific communications and advisory materials.

The position is hybrid, based in US offices (NYC, Boston, Chicago, or Indianapolis) or remote within the US, with emphasis on Eastern business hours and cross-team collaboration across Account, Scientific/Medical,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project/Program Management or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of budget management experience.
• Working familiarity with medical, legal, regulatory, and client review processes.
• Experience in medical affairs, scientific communications, or related healthcare projects.
• Proven track record of leading small- to medium-scale projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate expectations to internal teams and vendors to support workflow.
• Partner with Account, Scientific/Medical, Editorial, Creative, Studio, and other teams to keep projects on track.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor work to meet timelines, budgets, and quality goals.
• Collaborate with finance on invoicing processes.
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings with status updates.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports for alignment across teams.
• Serve as day-to-day project lead, defining scope and motivating cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate deliverables from concept through delivery with appropriate reviews and handoffs.
• Support adherence to agency processes and QA phases.
