Job summary

Real Chemistry is seeking an Account Manager to join our Medical Affairs team. You will act as the primary day-to-day contact for medical affairs and publication work streams, coordinating with colleagues, managing timelines, and ensuring client satisfaction across projects.

You will own medium to large client initiatives, communicate progress to the account lead, and seek opportunities for growth while staying abreast of industry trends and maintaining high standards for quality and timeliness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in medical affairs and publications.
• Highly organized with deadlines and multi-tasking.
• Independent thinker who can own assets but collaborates.
• Professional presence with client service orientation.
• Ability to communicate with managers about deadlines.
• High energy in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• Strong work ethic with on-time, on-budget deliverables.
• Able to communicate project updates clearly to clients.
• Speaker Bureau and speaker program management.
• BA or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Act as day-to-day client contact for medical affairs and publication work streams; provide regular status updates and manage client expectations.
• Lead regular internal team meetings; oversee workflow, task delegation and status of jobs across the account.
• Own medium/large client projects; ensure delivery within budget and timelines.
• Maintain ongoing communication with account lead; flag barriers and propose solutions.
• Understand client priorities and program strategy; monitor competitor activity.
• Stay updated on trends in medical communications and pharma.
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to credentials and pitches.
• Monitor market changes; support account finances and training needs.
