Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners seeks a dedicated Aesthetician/Laser Technician to deliver medical-grade skincare and laser treatments in Scottsdale. The role combines patient consultations, customized treatment planning, and product recommendations to enhance outcomes and practice revenue.

The ideal candidate has a current aesthetic license, state laser certification, and at least two years in a cosmetic dermatology setting, with strong communication and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Current State Aesthetician or Medical Aesthetician license is required.
• Laser certification must meet state regulatory requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in dermatology, medical spa, or cosmetic practice.
• Experience performing laser treatments and advanced skincare procedures.
• Strong consultation, sales, and patient relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and practice management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive skin assessments and aesthetic consultations.
• Develop customized treatment plans and educate patients on options, risks, and post-treatment care.
• Perform medical-grade facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, and related procedures.
• Safely perform laser and light-based treatments (hair removal, IPL, skin rejuvenation).
• Maintain laser logs, safety protocols, and equipment records.
• Educate patients on skincare products and treatment packages to support outcomes.
• Promote membership programs and cosmetic service offerings.
• Assist with promotional events and patient education programs.
