Job summary

The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education/CUNY School of Medicine at City University of New York seeks a part-time Admissions Department College Assistant (Hourly) to support administrative tasks for undergraduate admissions and student engagement.

This role assists with data organization, tutoring, data reporting, and coordination of student clubs and events, while maintaining records and supporting the Director of Undergraduate Admissions and Enrichment Programs.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications with a focus on customer service.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office tech.
• Experience with admissions recruitment events and campus activities is a plus.
• Familiarity with student research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support undergraduate admissions and enrichment programs with administrative tasks.
• Assist in data organization, research and tutoring activities.
• Assist student clubs, committees and organizations with administrative needs.
• Help identify and implement communication channels for student engagement.
