Job summary

Middle Tennessee State University seeks a Medical Admin Assistant for Student Health Services. You will greet patients, assist with forms, and handle check-in and check-out for clinic visits.

You will also reconcile daily student medical charges, prepare deposits and reports, answer calls, schedule appointments, and support immunization records and email inquiries to ensure smooth operations and accurate student health services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or HSE required.
• Three years secretarial/clerical experience required.
• Experience in medical office or university office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, assist with medical forms, and manage patient check-in/out.
• Process daily financial reconciliation of student medical charges and prepare reports.
• Answer calls, schedule appointments, and direct inquiries to clinical staff.
• Support immunization records in Banner/PNC to aid registration.
• Monitor the Health Services email and respond to inquiries.
• Enter immunization data into TennIIS and assist daily department operations.
