Job summary

Mbi Llc is seeking a Systems Analyst/QA Manager to lead QA activities for the HR1 Medicaid project. You will manage the full testing lifecycle, coordinate with state agencies, business teams, and external vendors, and ensure test coverage and traceability across SIT, UAT, and E2E tests.

You will oversee defect management, data integrity, and QA documentation, while communicating progress to stakeholders and project leadership. Experience with Mainframes and Teradata is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with a large-scale Medicaid member eligibility processing software.
• Experience coordinating SIT, UAT and E2E testing on a large-scale project.
• Skill in test scenario development, test data preparation, test case execution, defect tracking & metrics reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Executive reporting and presentations experience.
• Mainframes experience.
• Data analysis experience.
• Meeting facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of programming logic.
• Experience collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Teradata experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all QA activities for the HR1 Medicaid project, ensuring deliverables meet state requirements while coordinating with state agencies, business teams, and vendors.
• Manage the full testing lifecycle: strategy, planning, execution, reporting, data prep, and E2E testing.
• Coordinate testing with business teams to obtain user scenarios and test cases; support UAT and ensure traceability.
• Maintain defect management, validate data integrity across systems, and ensure QA documentation standards.
• Identify risks early and liaise with the PMO for project oversight; communicate across agencies, vendors, and leadership.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, E2E testing for MMIS and MES modules and COTS integrations; verify data conversion and integration.
• Lead defect triage calls with vendors and track defects to closure; ensure timely resolution.
• Develop test cases, test data, verify software changes, and solve escalated issues between developers and business users.
• Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders via Test Summary and Execution metrics.
• Escalate and track UAT defects through resolution; ensure readiness for deployments.
