DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Quality Improvement Process Specialist for a contract opportunity in Raleigh, NC.

The role requires onsite presence in Raleigh eight times per month and focuses on developing, assessing, and improving Quality Improvement processes within Medicaid programs. The candidate will lead end-to-end process design, documentation, and measurement; apply Six Sigma and QI methods; translate regulations into controls; and provide training and strategic feedback to leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a health, admin, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Medicaid and/or Managed Care quality improvement experience.
• Proven project management skills; PMP/CPHQ preferred.

Responsabilités

• Owns, documents, implements, and measures end-to-end processes; links to NC Medicaid goals.
• Identifies defects and uses root-cause analysis to develop improvements and verify changes.
• Applies Six Sigma and QI methods; mentors without overcomplicating methodologies.
• Translates federal regulations, contracts, and policies into operational controls.
• Drafts and maintains SOPs/SOGs; creates templates and job aids for state review.
• Delivers training and TA to health plans and internal teams; builds stakeholder relationships.
• Provides concise progress briefings; prioritizes work and escalates material issues.
• Interprets quality improvement work for Medicaid Managed Care and Direct populations.
