Job summary

State of Utah in Salt Lake City seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead Medicaid programs end-to-end, focusing on budgeting, planning, scheduling and policy compliance. You will coordinate with partners, contracts, and APDs, ensuring alignment with state and federal rules. Some on-site work may be required in a carceral facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of healthcare program management experience.
• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution.
• Medicaid program management experience.
• PgMP certification.
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow and AWS Cloud services.
• Experience with Microsoft Visio, SharePoint and Office Suite.
• Experience with Google Suite.
• Working knowledge of program management methodologies.
• Experience with managed care, care management, Medicaid population and policies, health information technology and or provider network support.
• Combination of healthcare and CMS regulatory program and certification experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Medicaid program projects from start to finish.
• Manage budgeting, planning, scheduling, quality, policy, and operations.
• Assist in creating contracts and APDs; liaise with partners and contractors.
• Oversee waiver programs including 1115 Justice Waiver.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Supervise a team of case managers.
