Job summary

Mathematica seeks a senior fellow to lead research and policy work on Medicaid/CHIP at the state or federal level. The role directs engagements for CMS-related entities and supports quality assurance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing in a dynamic national practice.

Responsibilities include guiding analytic teams, developing policy recommendations, and representing Mathematica externally. A strong background in health policy and data analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Masters or doctoral degree with substantial experience in Medicaid/CHIP policy.
• Extensive background in health policy research and program evaluation.
• Strong written and oral communication for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct research and technical assistance on Medicaid/CHIP policy and data systems.
• Lead proposals, manage multidisciplinary teams, and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Apply rigorous analysis to quantitative and qualitative data.
• Represent Mathematica at conferences and expert panels as needed.
• Mentor staff and contribute to institutional knowledge in Medicaid/CHIP.
