Job summary

University of New Orleans seeks a Compliance & Policy Specialist to manage Rulemaking, State Plan publications, and Medicaid administrative processes. You will coordinate website postings, ensure archival integrity, and collaborate with CMS and LDH teams to maintain compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an Associates degree with 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Excellent analytical abilities, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up, and exceptional verbal/written communications skills.
• Works well both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to set, follow, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate publication of Rulemaking and State Plan documents on the agency’s website and ensure timely publication and archiving.
• Consult with LDH webmaster and Policy/Compliance staff to publish versions legislatively mandated.
• Utilize CMS state-facing systems and manage transitions in MACPro, OneMAC, MACFin and MMDL.
• Collaborate with Rulemaking staff to resolve issues identified by program staff and CMS.
• Assist in training LDH staff on Rulemaking, State Plan, and Medicaid administrative processes.
