As a Policy Analyst, you will review the Medicaid State Plan, draft waivers, coordinate with CMS and District agencies, and provide research-based recommendations to support budget and policy decisions.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in Medicaid policy and program administration.
• Experience drafting SPAs and waiver amendments.
• Ability to analyze complex health care policies.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor the Medicaid State Plan and waivers.
• Analyze, interpret, and coordinate policy documents for SPAs/waiver amendments.
• Lead evaluation of DHCF programs within budget constraints.
• Recommend revisions to legislation for effective program implementation.
• Coordinate strategic planning and IT planning to support policy development.
