Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree preferred or relevant work experience in healthcare.
• Experience with patient financial counseling or insurance benefits is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Screen and evaluate patients for existing insurance coverage and assistance programs.
• Re-verify benefits and obtain authorization/referral after treatment plan is discussed.
• Complete and file applications and follow up with agencies to ensure timely processing.
• Enter accurate insurance, demographic and eligibility data in the system and document progress notes.
