Job summary

Horizon Behavioral Health in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Compliance Director to oversee licensing and regulatory compliance for all programs and services, ensuring alignment with licensing standards and CARF, and coordinating with DOJ, DBHDS, DMAS, CARF and other entities. The role drives regulatory changes and staff training.

Requires a Bachelor's in health care or related field (Master’s preferred) and 3 years of related experience; exempt, full-time, reports to CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health care or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor licensing status for all programs and services to ensure compliance with licensing standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and CARF standards.
• Provide training on regulatory matters to staff to ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee Horizon's Policies and Procedures for quality and implementation.
• Serve as internal consultant on licensing requirements and regulatory matters.
