Highmark Health is seeking an experienced Medicaid strategy professional to join as a strategic partner embedded within the Medicaid segment. The role focuses on growth initiatives, product development, and policy analysis at state and federal levels, with hybrid onsite presence in Pittsburgh, PA.

The candidate will analyze legislation, support market and competitive analysis, and translate policy landscapes into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in strategic planning or related work in business or healthcare.
• Two years of consulting experience (external or internal).
• Six years of experience in payer, hospital system, or care delivery industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support key strategic initiatives across Enterprise, including team leadership, problem-solving, data analysis, and project management.
• Participate on a portfolio of projects across the organization.
• Develop strategic plans for the Enterprise and its key business units.
• Identify, clarify, and resolve complex issues critical to initiative success.
• Assess initiative impacts and ensure alignment with overall strategy.
• Help develop standard analytics and processes for leading strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to shaping the culture and skill set of the organization.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
