Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Customer Service Representative II in Jamaica, NY to assist New York Medicaid enrollees with navigating healthcare options, enrollment, and plan choices. You will provide face-to-face and telephone support from the onsite office at 165-08 88th Avenue, 8th Floor.

The role includes eligibility screening, application review, data entry, and coordination with HRA/LDSS staff. Training is provided, including CAC certification, with a Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 0-6 months of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Prior work experience in customer service, data entry, and/or data processing.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process intake referrals from calls, voicemail, email, or other channels.
• Respond to inquiries, provide program information, and refer clients to resources.
• Enter and maintain application, intake, and case information in databases.
