Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Customer Service Representative II to join our Cooperstown, NY office. You will help New York Medicaid recipients navigate healthcare options, access services, and make informed coverage decisions.

The role involves face-to-face and telephone support, guiding enrollment, explaining managed care options, and delivering compassionate service. Training will prepare you to maintain CAC certification and succeed in a community-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college or college degree preferred.
• Experience with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter resource for customer inquiries via telephone, IVR, web portals, or outreach activities.
• Manage and support escalated enrollment cases and processes per established procedures.
• Respond to complex or sensitive customer concerns by applying program policies and guidelines.
