Job summary

Alsos Behavioral Health is seeking a Medicaid Enrollment Coordinator to secure and maintain patient coverage across two Colorado facilities. You will work directly with patients and authorized representatives to complete enrollment work and ensure timely outcomes, with on-site presence at Sheridan Grove and Spring Grove.

The role requires coordinating with Revenue Cycle and Admissions, handling verified coverage, and explaining benefits and payment options in clear terms.

Qualifications

• Experience helping patients complete Medicaid enrollment is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet the onsite schedule and travel between Colorado worksites.
• Experience using electronic records, portals and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient census and verified coverage with Admissions and UR.
• Explain enrollment or renewal pathways and obtain required documents.
• Submit Medicaid enrollment, renewal or restoration applications with proof of receipt.
• Track case status, deadlines and next steps, following up with patients and agencies.
• Provide clear handoffs with coverage evidence and unresolved issues.
