Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is seeking a patient eligibility specialist to verify enrollment for Medicaid, CHP+ and other programs. You will interview clients, collect data, and guide them through enrollment in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, experience with vulnerable populations, and proficiency with enrollment systems. Travel to CCH properties may be required to conduct outreach events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with vulnerable or underserved populations preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid, CHP+, Medicare Savings Programs, CICP, and Connect for Health Colorado eligibility and enrollment processes.
• Proficiency in using enrollment systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Research and verify patient eligibility for health insurance programs and benefits.
• Register and interview clients to obtain accurate demographic and financial information.
• Inform clients about government-funded discount programs.
• Complete enrollment applications using electronic and manual systems.
• Identify and correct enrollment discrepancies in compliance with program guidelines.
