Personnel Consulting Group is seeking a Medicaid Eligibility Project Manager in Austin to keep complex eligibility work on track from plan to go-live. You will bring structure to policy changes, align state leaders, vendors, and delivery teams, and surface risks early to enable solutions for members to retain eligible coverage.

You’ll manage scope, changes, and budget while coordinating with vendors, MCOs, and programs like SNAP.

Competenze

• 5+ years of project management experience incl. large, multi-stakeholder technology or policy implementations.
• 3+ years of Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, or public assistance programs experience.
• Experience with state agencies, vendors, and federal requirements.
• Strong planning, RAID management, and reporting skills using MS Project/Smartsheet/Jira or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches.

• Plan and manage Medicaid eligibility and enrollment projects, including system changes and policy implementations.
• Build integrated project plans, schedules, and milestones across state agency, vendor, and delivery teams.
• Manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions through a RAID log and escalate early.
• Lead implementation of federal/state requirements within mandated deadlines.
• Coordinate with eligibility system vendors, managed care organizations, and adjacent programs like SNAP/MMIS.
• Facilitate status meetings, steering committees, and document decisions and actions.
• Prepare status reports and executive briefings on progress, risks, and decisions needed.
• Manage scope, change requests, and budget against contract and funding requirements.
