Meritas Advisory Group, LLC seeks a Medicaid Eligibility Project Manager to shepherd complex eligibility work from plan to go-live, bringing structure to policy changes and aligning state leaders, vendors, and delivery teams to surface risks early.

You will coordinate with eligibility system vendors, MCOs, and related programs, lead status meetings, and provide clear executive briefings on progress and decisions for successful member coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience on large, multi-stakeholder technology or policy implementations.
• 3+ years of Medicaid eligibility or public assistance program experience.
• Experience with state agencies, vendors, and federal requirements.
• Strong planning, RAID management, and reporting using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methods.
• Clear, calm communication with executives, policy experts, and technical teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Plan and manage Medicaid eligibility and enrollment projects across systems and policy changes.
• Build and maintain integrated project plans across state agencies, vendor, and delivery teams.
• Manage RAID log and surface risks early; escalate when needed.
• Lead implementation of new federal/state requirements within deadlines.
• Coordinate with eligibility system vendors, MCOs, and SNAP/MMIS.
• Facilitate status meetings, steering committees, and working sessions; document actions.
• Prepare status reports and executive briefings on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Manage scope, change requests, and budgets against funding requirements.
• Support testing, readiness, training, and go-live planning for staff and members.
