Qualifications

• 1-2 years in healthcare revenue cycle or related patient accounting roles.
• Understanding of Medicaid/insurance processes and eligibility.
• CRCR certification within 9 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interview uninsured/under-insured patients to determine Medicaid eligibility.
• Assist with applications and ensure timely submission and posting.
• Communicate with patients to collect required documents for submissions.
• Maintain entries in patient accounting systems with accurate notes.
• Collaborate with Medicaid caseworkers and other revenue cycle teams.
