Job summary

Randolph County is seeking an Income Maintenance Caseworker to manage intake, processing, and review of eligibility for Medicaid and related programs, including Special Assistance.

You will interview clients, enter data in the web-based system, verify information, determine eligibility, and complete periodic reviews, while advising clients of rights and available services. Regular attendance is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an Income Maintenance Caseworker; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle intake, processing, and review of Medicaid and Special Assistance programs.
• Interview clients and review mail-in applications and ePASS data to collect required information.
• Enter data into a web-based system to complete initial applications and verify information.
• Determine and verify eligibility through the web-based application; assist in processing applications.
• Complete scheduled reviews and redeterminations for continued eligibility.
• Inform clients of rights and obligations under program policies.
• Explain requirements and refer clients to other program services as appropriate.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; perform related duties as assigned.
