Formación

• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare interacting with patients regarding hospital financial issues.
• Understanding of Revenue Cycle including admission, billing, payments and denials is preferred.
• Knowledge of patient insurance processes for obtaining authorizations and benefits verification.

Responsabilidades

• Interviews uninsured/under-insured patients to determine eligibility for Medicaid benefits or Financial Assistance.
• Assists with application processes for accurate submissions.
• Follows up on applications to ensure timely billing or adjustment processing.
• Maintains documentation in patient accounting systems and communicates proactively with patients.
