Wake County Department of Social Services in Raleigh is seeking an Eligibility Caseworker I – Family & Children’s Medicaid (FCMA) to assess Medicaid eligibility and support families in our community.

You will interview clients by phone or in person, evaluate their financial information, and help connect them with economic benefits and resources. Use NCFAST and OnBase for case tracking, while processing applications and maintaining records with care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of related experience required or equivalent education/experience.
• Spanish language skills preferred but not required.

Mansioni

• Interview individuals by phone or in person to assess Medicaid eligibility.
• Evaluate financial and personal information to determine eligibility.
• Assist clients with economic benefits, community referrals and other resources.
• Process applications and re-determinations; conduct reviews and maintain case documentation.
• Utilize NCFAST and document management systems for case tracking and accuracy; provide backup support to colleagues.
