Community Care Network is seeking a Developmental Disabilities Services Billing Clerk in Rutland, Vermont. The role focuses on DDS Medicaid billing within Accounts Receivable, with a backup function for CCBHC billing.

You will ensure accurate, timely claims submissions and resolve denials while maintaining compliance with Medicaid regulations. As part of a collaborative team, you will handle guarantor setups, billing inquiries, and AR aging reports, contributing to efficient reimbursement and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in medical coding preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and communication across departments.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 and Medicaid billing requirements for VT.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Submit DDS claims to Vermont Medicaid accurately and timely.
• Research, resolve, and appeal billing denials; process DDS Vermont Medicaid 835 remittance files.
• Generate and manage weekly accounts receivable aging reports.
• Perform routine setup and maintenance of guarantors and client billing accounts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and third-party payers.
• Maintain knowledge of billing regulations and reimbursement guidelines.
• Assist with other AR, Access, and Triage functions as assigned.
