Job summary

Community Care Network in Rutland, VT is seeking a Developmental Services Financial Coordinator to oversee HCBS waiver funding, budgeting, and financial data for individuals in the DS program. You will liaise with care coordinators, CMOs, ARIS, and the Finance Department to ensure accurate funding and timely adjustments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in business/finances or equivalent experience, with at least two years in developmental disabilities and Vermont DA familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of two years' experience in Developmental Disabilities Services, including at least one year in Vermont DA System.
• Ability to work with numbers and complex financial rules.
• Knowledge of Vermont Medicaid regulations and DD services.
• Ability to train groups and individuals effectively.
• Flexible and collaborative work style; strong communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and solution orientation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; insurance coverage as required.
• Criminal history background check required after hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HCBS Waiver funding and allocations for DS program participants.
• Maintain financial data for DS individuals, reviewing AFLs, budget calculators, and Rosters.
• Submit corrections to individual budgets and Roster as needed.
• Review funding exceptions and act as DSO sign-off.
• Serve as point of contact for finance, care coordinators, families, and external agencies.
• Coordinate Shared Living contracts and ensure accurate financial information.
• Ensure Shared Living files are current, including insurance and addresses.
• Verify timely payments to Shared Living Providers and adjust for terminations or changes.
• Open/close SLP EHR episodes within 48 business hours of changes.
• Manage encounterable units and DSP services for funded allocations.
• Collect vendor invoices and ensure reimbursement through EMR.
• Draft notices for changes, suspensions, terminations, or adverse determinations.
• Chairs One Time Funding Committee and handles related admin tasks.
• Process ARIS allocations for Family Managed Respite (FMR) and Flexible Family Funding (FFF).
• Assist with new intakes and budget changes with CMO agencies.
• Ensure SIS-A scores and approved budgets are entered into EMR.
