American Medical Associates in Hempstead, NY is seeking a Medicaid Coordinator to manage Medicaid applications and related admission/finance tasks for residents.

You will file applications, coordinate with families, and ensure compliance, reporting to the Director of Finance; knowledge of MCD certs and recerts is a plus. Prior nursing home experience and strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have prior nursing home experience.
• Medicaid Coordinator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid applications, eligibility requirements, and supporting documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on pending applications and maintain accurate records.

Responsabilités

• File Medicaid applications in a timely fashion and work with families/residents to obtain necessary paperwork for Medicaid compliance and other Admission/Finance tasks.
