Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s degree with 3 years professional experience, or 6 years professional experience in lieu of the degree.
• Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and follow up.
• Ability to manage projects, assignments, and competing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receives all inbound calls and provides information relative to Medicaid programs.
• Performs real-time Medicaid eligibility determinations within the CSU/MSD.
• Promotes enrollment and retention in LaCHIP and Medicaid programs.
• Operates within LaMEDS to process applications, renewals, and case changes.
