Job summary

LSU New Orleans seeks a Department Medicaid Support SME to lead billing/premium collections for LaCHIP LAP, FOA, and Buy-In Medicare payments. You will coordinate with eligibility teams, identify system issues, and support training for new staff. Strong MMIS/LaMEDS knowledge and problem-solving are essential.

This is a full-time on-site role in New Orleans. Experience with MAGI/NON-MAGI policies and MS Office is required; advanced degrees are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years of professional work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 1 year professional experience with MAGI and NON-MAGI related policies and procedures.
• Minimum 1 year professional experience with MMIS and LaMEDS.
