Job summary

Beacon Brook Center for Health & Rehabilitation, part of National Health Care Associates, seeks an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage Medicaid pending applications, QMB processing, redetermination, and patient liability coordination.

You will work with residents, families, and DSS to resolve discrepancies, prepare AR reports, and support billing processes in a collaborative, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Connecticut Medicaid experience.
• Knowledge of Medicaid regulations in Long Term Care.
• PointClickCare experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues promptly
• Interact with residents, families, and external partners to address billing inquiries and provide clear, empathetic explanations when needed
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, providing insights to support strategic decision-making
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency
