Job summary

Beacon Brook Center for Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to process Medicaid Pending Applications, QMB, and Redeterminations. You will handle patient liability and coordinate with DSS on discrepancies, while ensuring accurate accounts receivable records.

The role demands attention to detail, collaboration with residents and families, and a focus on compliant Medicaid procedures within a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Connecticut Medicaid.
• Knowledge of Medicaid regulations in Long Term Care.
• PointClickCare experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Responsibilities

• Process Medicaid Pending Applications through approval and QMB.
• Process and track Redetermination; manage patient liability with DSS.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Interact with residents, families, and external partners on billing inquiries.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports.
