Job summary

Local Hero is seeking a sharp Associate Media Director to lead our media team in developing and executing integrated media plans for major brands. This remote role (hybrid possible near Boulder, CO) reports to the President/COO and sits in Operations, with scope across national and international campaigns.

The role requires 5+ years in media planning/buying/reporting and 1–2 years of management, plus experience with attribution using GTM or ad servers. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in media planning, buying and reporting.
• 1–2 years of managerial experience with offshore/distributed teams.
• Experience with attribution/tracking (Google Tag Manager or ad servers).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle and execution of core digital media functions (planning, buying, QA, reporting) across on- and offshore teams.
• Act as player-coach, guiding priorities while direct- executing on media buys and QA.
• Serve as internal subject matter expert across digital channels and platforms.
• Develop and refine media strategies and mixes for clients.
• Innovate using new platforms and AI to improve efficacy and efficiency.
