KOAT, the ABC affiliate in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an entry-level Sales Account Associate as part of a comprehensive 9-12 month training program.

You will learn local television sales, support in developing proposals, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns. The program emphasizes hands-on practice, roleplay, and ongoing career development with exposure to Nielsen data and WideOrbit platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Must be focused and organized.
• Related military experience will be considered.
• Enterprising spirit with a goal of becoming a media sales account executive in 9-12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist the development of sales proposals, advertising packages, and client presentations.
• Create supportive marketing materials for the sales department.
• Prepare proposals based on account executive requests.
• Communicate with our teams (sales, production, finance) and external clients on performance and delivery of campaigns.
• Enter and maintain all orders including electronic transfer and maintenance of WOCentral orders to WideOrbit.
• Manage sales database.
