Job summary

Gray Media’s KXII in Sherman, TX is seeking a Media Executive to drive new direct business revenue across digital, TV, and sponsorships. You will manage the full sales cycle, build strong advertiser relationships, and meet revenue goals in a hybrid field-based role with time in the Sherman office.

You will forecast pipelines in CRM, deliver marketing recommendations, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize results. A background in media sales is a strong asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Previous outside sales or media sales experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of digital marketing platforms is ideal.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to create effective sales promotions.
• Adaptable and effective negotiating skills.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Research market opportunities and generate or follow through on sales leads.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospect to close and meet revenue goals.
• Provide expert insights, recommendations, and consultancy to build relationships.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of new advertisers and forecast in our CRM.
• Create and present marketing recommendations to advertisers’ key decision-makers.
• Meet or exceed sales expectations, goals, and budgets; collaborate across departments.
