Job summary

FOX Television Stations New York is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team. You will support the Sales Team, primarily assisting National Account Executives and Sales Managers with day-to-day activities across digital and broadcast platforms.

You will enter and revise advertising orders, generate weekly reports, and collaborate with digital sales, traffic, research, and other teams to drive revenue while maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn industry software such as WideOrbit, Media Sales, AOS.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives with advertising order entry, revisions, and reporting in the WideOrbit Traffic system.
• Communicate with sales representatives and buyers regarding preempts, make-good offers, program changes, late runs, and other account activity.
• Provide weekly advertiser reports, including spot times and post reports.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and buyers to address invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues.
• Support Sales Management with political advertising, including maintaining contracts, ensuring FCC documentation is complete, and verifying cash-in-advance payments.
• Collaborate with the Traffic department on advertising copy management.
• Support other station departments and initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
