Job summary

FOX Television Stations New York is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our New York office, supporting the Sales Team across broadcast and digital platforms. You will assist National Account Executives and Sales Managers with order entry, revisions, and reporting in WideOrbit Traffic, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn industry software such as WideOrbit, AOS, and Media Sales.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive, professional approach.
• Comfortable working with numbers and data with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to learn industry software, including WideOrbit, Media Sales, AOS, and other media platforms.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives with advertising order entry, revisions, and reporting in the WideOrbit Traffic system.
• Communicate with sales representatives and buyers regarding preempts, make-good offers, program changes, late runs, and other account activity.
• Provide weekly advertiser reports, including spot times and post reports.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and buyers to address invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues.
• Support Sales Management with political advertising, including maintaining contracts, ensuring FCC documentation is complete, and verifying cash-in-advance payments.
• Collaborate with the Traffic department on advertising copy management.
• Support other station departments and initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
