Job summary

FOX Television Stations in New York is seeking a Sales Assistant to support the Sales Team and drive revenue across broadcast and digital platforms. You will assist National Account Executives and Sales Managers with day-to-day tasks and collaborate with digital sales, traffic, research, and other teams.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, data accuracy, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A 401(k) with company match and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach.
• Comfortable with numbers and data, accuracy-focused.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to learn industry software including WideOrbit, Media Sales, AOS.
• Strong work ethic and collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives with advertising order entry, revisions, and reporting in the WideOrbit Traffic system.
• Communicate with sales representatives and buyers regarding preempts, make-good offers, program changes, late runs, and other account activity.
• Provide weekly advertiser reports, including spot times and post reports.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and buyers to address invoicing, discrepancies, and collection issues.
• Support Sales Management with political advertising, including maintaining contracts, ensuring FCC documentation is complete, and verifying cash-in-advance payments.
• Collaborate with the Traffic department on advertising copy management.
• Support other station departments and initiatives as needed.
• Perform additional projects and duties as assigned.
