Life.Church in Edmond, Oklahoma invites an experienced Media Relations Manager to tell stories of God’s work through proactive and reactive media outreach. You will shape strategy, advise on speaking engagements, craft messaging, and grow journalist relationships to expand Life.Church’s voice.

You’ll report to the Sr. Director of Public Relations and collaborate with the Communications Group to share newsworthy stories across local, national, and trade outlets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Strategic Communication, or related field is required.
• 5+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of effective media relations strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive national press strategy and identify news hooks for Life.Church.
• Counsel staff on speaking engagements and media requests.
• Craft consistent messaging on sensitive topics across channels.
• Build journalist relationships and manage media inquiries.
