Job summary

Life.Church is seeking a Media Relations Manager to expand the reach of YouVersion stories worldwide. You will shape global press strategy, coach international PR contractors, and prep spokespersons for interviews while crafting sensitive-topic messaging and measuring outcomes.

The role supports Life.Church Communications in delivering ministry impact through proactive media outreach, collaboration with global teams, and timely response to media inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Public Relations, Strategic Communication, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Experience working across time zones and with remote teams.
• Demonstrated track record of effective media relations strategies.
• Ability to coach and develop others and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Strategic Direction of Global Press Efforts, including editorial collaboration and international contractor coaching.
• Lead Press Execution for proactive and reactive opportunities, drafting materials and coordinating logistics.
• Maintain tools and resources: media lists, testimonials, visual assets, and monitor coverage.
